How direct billing can help
At participating providers, eligible services may be billed directly to NIB, which can reduce the amount you need to pay upfront. This does not mean every consultation is automatically fully covered.
What if the doctor is not in the network?
You may still be able to use another recognised provider and make a claim, subject to your policy benefits, MBS arrangements, limits and exclusions. Check your cover before treatment.
